This is our first travel visit in BOHOL - a first class island province located at the Central Visayas region in the Philippines. The weather is good and we enjoy our tour with the friendly locals.

Bohol has a lot of churches built way back during colonization of the Spaniards. The oldest and most famous church in Bohol ~ Our Lady of Immaculate Conception known as "Baclayon Church"

DAY TWO IN BOHOL: Stop-Over in MANGROVE FOREST-the island has one of the highest biological diverse mangrove ecosystems. Mangroves are salt tolerant trees that have adapted to living in salt and brackist water conditions.
CHOCOLATE HILLS in Carmen- estimated from 1,268 to about 1,776 individual mounds, these cone-shaped or dome-shaped hills are made of grass-covered limestone. The domes vary in sizes from 30 to 50 metres (98 to 160 ft) high with the largest being 120 metres ( 390 ft) in height.

Hinagdanan Cave in Panglao - naturally lighted cavern with a deep lagoon and many large stalactites and stalagmites. The underground lake is a popular swimming spot.
The cave is lit by sunlight which filters through holes in the ceiling.
"Simply Butterflies Conservation Center" - the first butterfly livelihood breeding and conservation program in Bilar, Bohol. Enjoy the beautiful scenery with colorful butterflies.
